Often times people ask us the meaning of our name.
Quite simply, its why we’re here and it’s found in Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old, they will not depart from it.”
Statistics tell us that what a child learns and experiences by age 12 will serve as their compass for the rest of their lives. The implications of this are huge. Here at 22Six we understand that and we’re committed to the task of 
reaching these p recious kids with the love of Jesus.

Infant and toddler nurseries are 
offered for all three of our weekly services. Children 3-5 years old attend our Pre-school program, complete with Bible lessons, snacks & activities all taught by committed, caring teachers who love God and love kids. Childcare is also provided for various special events throughout the year.
For those in Kindergarten through 5th grade we have an exciting kids church program complete with games, candy, prizes, special contests and intense directional teaching from God’s Word. Through this program, together we strive to include:
- sound, biblical curriculum
- fun, interactive, lessons and special memorization contests
- consistent, weekly relationship building between staff and children
- training of jr. workers to actively serve in children’s ministry, developing their talents and gifts
- developing and maintaining a strong promotion program of out-going 6th grade students into
Infinity Youth Ministries
Throughout the year in preparation for the Michigan District Fine Arts Festival and other events, the 22Six Kids Choir comes together to sing of God’s love. In 2008 and 2009 the choir received the First Place Showcase Award at FAF and continue to strive for excellence. Action packed songs, solos, special outfits, trips and more are all apart of this exciting opportunity for the children of the RT community.
22Six Kids Club
The 22Six Kids Club is our Saturday bus ministry and is committed to reaching the underprivileged children of our inner cities. Multitudes of urban children are the victims of poverty and abuse, lacking even the most basic nutritional and material needs. Vast numbers of children, due to circumstances beyond their control, receive an inadequate education. We believe these precious children deserve a chance to have a better life.
Every week children are transported to the 22Six Kids Club where they experience a ninety minute program complete with Nickelodeon-style games & contests, a time of intense directional teaching from God’s word and a nutritious meal. The positive message given is focused on developing a consistent relationship with Jesus Christ, staying in school, saying “no” to drugs, and eliminating racism and violence.
The 22Six Kids Club also sponsors large annual events every year including Warweek Kids Crusades, Back To School Backpack Giveaway and our Christmas Toy Giveaway.
