In life, we often feel like a crumpled $20 bill—worn, torn, and undervalued. Yet, just as that bill retains its value, so do we in the eyes of God. Our worth is not determined by our past mistakes or current struggles. This understanding should encourage us to seek a fresh start with God, knowing that our value is not diminished by our circumstances. Embracing this truth allows us to live with confidence and hope, trusting that God sees us as precious and worthy of His love.
"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well." (Psalm 139:13-14, ESV)
Reflection: In what areas of your life do you feel undervalued or unworthy? How can you remind yourself of your unchanging worth in God's eyes today?
