Believers are called to comfort others with the comfort they receive from God. Our trials equip us to support and encourage one another, fostering a community of faith and resilience. This communal support is vital, as we are called to bear one another's burdens and encourage each other in faith. By sharing in each other's struggles, we build a stronger, more compassionate community. [01:19:03]
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (ESV): "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Reflection: Who in your community is in need of comfort today? How can you extend the comfort you have received from God to them in a practical way?
